Vitamin A helps to speed up healing, prevent breakouts and support the skin's immune system and it promotes natural moisturising - which means it helps to hydrate the skin effectively, giving it a radiant glow. It assists in promoting and maintaining a healthy dermis and epidermis; the top two layers of your skin.
 
Vitamin C promotes collagen production, which has the potential to thicken the dermis, diminish fine lines, and is essential for firm, youthful skin.  It is also an antioxidant, so that it protects skin cells from damaging free radicals caused by UV exposure.  It also inhibits melanin production in the skin, which helps to lighten hyperpigmentation and brown spots, even out skin tone, and enhance skin radiance.  Vitamin C helps to repair damage from sun exposure and collagen loss by encouraging healthy cell turnover and regeneration.
 
Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant and has been in use for more than 50 years in dermatology. It protects the skin by destroying free-radicals which damage your skin.
 
This cream is based on 4 natural plant oils: Sweet Almond, Camelia, Jojoba and Raspberry to bring you a naturally nourishing revitalising cream.
 
Sweet Almond Oil is both a moisturizer and an emollient.  Moisturizers supply water to the skin and hold it in with an oily substance. Emollients smooth the skin, filling in little gaps. Rather than adding moisture, they help the skin retain it by improving its barrier function.  Many people use almond oil to help treat common skin conditions, such as dermatitis and eczema. In general, there is good evidence that moisturizers improve eczema.  One study showed that a moisturizer containing sweet almond oil reduced the symptoms of moderate or severe hand dermatitis.
 
Camellia oil is also a natural source of antioxidants and vitamins like vitamin A and B. The antioxidant composition of the oil is probably the most notable reason for its anti-aging abilities, as these help to improve skin elasticity, nourish skin cells, and prevent the formation of wrinkles and fine lines.
 
Jojoba oil is works to seal your skin with a protective barrier to keep it from losing moisture. This may help prevent bacterial infections and acne from forming.  Jojoba oil contains natural forms of vitamin E. This vitamin works with your skin as an antioxidant. This means that jojoba oil can help your skin fight oxidative stress caused by everyday exposure to pollutants and other toxins.  Although jojoba oil is a botanical substance, its makeup is so similar to the oil (sebum) your body naturally produces that your skin can’t tell the difference.  The antioxidants in jojoba oil may help your body produce collagen. Collagen is a protein that’s in your skin and joints as well as the parts of your body made of cartilage.
 
The anti-inflammatory effect of red raspberry seed oil also soothes symptoms of inflammatory skin conditions like eczema, rosacea, and psoriasis.  Dry skin is a symptom of these conditions, too. The oil can moisturize and soften skin, as well as reduce flares and irritation like itching, swelling, and redness.
